20 years as a saxophonist and pianist in and around the Shenandoah Valley and Washington, D.C. Performing with Doc Scantlin’s Royal Palms Orchestra, The Winstonians, For Dancers Only, The Couriers, The Backyard Blues Band, Yesterday’s Swing Orchestra, The Phil Bowers Jazz Orchestra, the Chris Eiland Jazz Sextet, the Shenandoah Conservatory Jazz Ensemble, the Throwbacks, and the Music Makers.

Studied jazz baritone and tenor saxophones and jazz theory with Dr. Adrien Re,  jazz ensemble with Dr. Bob Larson, and jazz and blues saxophone with Gene “King Saxe” Walker.
