Over 55 years as a professional musician and member of the American Federation of Musicians. Former band leader of Three dance orchestras in Martinsburg, WV. and the Phi Mu Alpha Jazz Orchestra at West Virginia University. 

33 yrs., retired, as Public high school music educator, in Berkeley Co. ,WV, and Loudoun Co., VA while serving for 8 years as a U.S. Army Captain assigned as the music instructor for the 113th Army Band. 

Free lance musician, with such performers as, Ames Brothers, Four Freshman, Miller Band, Steve Lawrence, and The Clyde Beatty circus band.
